However, SDG16 is beginning to stimulate cooperation for peace and security, not only through formal structures, but through coalitions to address the most important risks to peace. Ministries of Foreign Affairs will need to use the full range of tools at their disposal, working through the UN system, the G20, and regional forums to generate a new vision and greater ambition.
