Bretton Woods Project that the current global health and climate emergencies expose the consequences of decades of hyper-globalisation and neoliberal policies advanced by the IMF and World Bank. If the two institutions are truly committed to ‘building back better’, they must abandon their dogmatic, austerity-based, private-sector-first approach, and use the COVID-19 crises as a moment for overdue change.
