Our Global System has spun out of Control. Here's how to rebalance it

Improving global governance
Feb 07, 2019 | World Economic Forum, Klaus Schwab

The unipolar world, with the US as the leading political power and market capitalism as the leading economic concept, has come to an end. Klaus Schwab suggests in this article of the World Economic Forum that the new, multipolar and multiconceptual world is extremely fragile, as the rise of new powers leads to an inherently more hostile environment for the previous hegemony. Exploring how system control can be established in a world that is increasingly out of balance, he proposes the establishment of a new global system that should be more respectful of multipolarity and diversity, more stakeholder-based, sustainable, inclusive, gender-balanced, human-centric, and ethically based.
