Beyond Omicron: COVID’s Viral Evolution

Scientists who are tracking the effects of the mutations in the variants to date - including Delta and Omicron – warn that as some countries lift restrictions, the opportunities for SARS-CoV-2 to make significant evolutionary leaps, will increase.
