Theboundary for ocean acidification is, moreover, close to being breached, whileaerosol loading exceeds the boundary in several locations. Stratospheric ozonelevels have recovered. The transgression level has increased for all boundariesthat were earlier identified as having been overstepped. Earth system modelingof different levels of the transgression of the climate and land system changeboundaries illustrates that the anthropogenic impacts on Earth system must beurgently considered in a systemic context.
