Delivering sustainable economic growth
Jul 08, 2024 | Foreign Affairs

The challenges facing the clean energytransition are real, but the impulse to pull back is misguided, warn MeghanSullivan and Jason Bordoff in their article for Foreign Affairs. As carbon emissions continue to rise, mitigating the dire threat of climate change requires much fasterdecarbonization than is currently underway. But this is not the only reason tohasten the transition, they suggest. The authors note that well-designed and far-reaching policies couldhelp overcome this hurdle.
